Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and monitor key financial, operational, and compliance risks
• Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures
• Collaborate with various departments to evaluate and mitigate risks
• Conduct regular risk assessments and stress testing to evaluate the organization’s risk exposure
• Monitor risk indicators and prepare risk reports for senior management
• Advise on risk-related matters and ensure that risk management is aligned with business objectives
• Support the development and maintenance of the company’s internal control framework
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulatory risk requirements
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to risk management
• Assist in preparing reports for regulatory authorities

Your Profile as a Risk Officer:

• You are detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in identifying potential risks
• You have strong communication skills and are able to influence decision-making on risk-related matters
• You have experience in risk management, preferably within the financial services sector
• You are familiar with risk management frameworks (such as COSO or ISO 31000) and regulatory requirements
• You have the ability to analyze complex data and assess potential impacts on business operations
• You are fluent in both Dutch and French, with a good level of English
• You have a degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years’ experience in risk management
• You possess relevant certifications (e.g., FRM, CRM) or are willing to pursue them
